Face value

The nominal or stated value of a security, such as a bond or stock.

Failure swing

A technical indicator in which the price attempts to break a previous high or low but fails to do so.

Fair value

Fakeout

A false breakout where the price briefly moves beyond a key level but then quickly reverses its course.

Fibonacci

A ‘fill’ signifies the successful execution of an order after matching with a corresponding party – it is the fulfilment of an asset to be purchased or sold.
